The other day, Rocky apparently decided to take a cruise on one of Tim's bicycles from his house all the way down to Target. It takes approximately 10 minutes maybe a little less to get there by car. When I woke up yesterday morning, I assumed he had gone out with one of his friends, or his brother... so I did my own thing here at the pad and juiced amazing vegetables that our friend Colin and Courtney drop off every week because they work at a local co-op. I pop in "The Hills" DVD and watch the dramatic lives of girls living in Los Angeles, very intriguing, because two of the girl on the show go to FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise)... my school.
About 10:50 a.m. I receive a call from Rocky, and I can't seem to understand anything he is saying, other than people won't give him what he's trying to find. Sometimes, Rocky doesn't make much sense to people unless you know what he's talking about. 90% of the time what sounds jiberish and crazy to people, actually makes a lot of sense to me. Suddenly, another voice comes on the line, "Hi, my name is Dr. Scott, and I am a nurse at Scripps Mermorial Hospital in Encinitas. Unfortunately, your husband got brought in by ambulance..." I was confused why none of his friends called to tell me immediately what was going on, and I replied, "I'll be there."
The drive down took a couple of minutes. When I reach the ER, none of his friends are there. I ask the nurse, "What happened?"
In the beginning as I mentioned is what happened. Rocky woke up early, ate breakfast, and took a bicycle to go to target to buy a frame for a lovely drawing he did of Caleb. In the H E A T of the morning, pedaling up and down hills, by the time he reached target, he was weak, hot, and tired. According to Target employees, they found him under a clothing rack asking him to leave because they thought he was on drugs or something. He told them he just wanted to take a nap because he was so tired. They immediately called the paramedics because he was weak and couldn't stand. The doctors in the ER stabilized him and found he had a 101 degree temperature, his Depakote levels were low, due to the fact that he forgot to take his medicine that morning. Rocky quickly recovered, he just overly exerted himself... literally, the journey to Target could easily wipe me out, and even I would get faint if I did that.
They took him in to get CT scan, at this point he is normal, just restless. The results of the scan was music to my ears.
The doctor tells me, "It appears that we have his record here on file from the last scan we did in August, and the tumor in comparison has gotten smaller. The only concern is that there is a little bleeding within the tumor. There is still a little swelling and inflammation in his head too."
Praise the Lord!! Prayer is working, and our strict raw & organic diet is fighting the cancerous cells in collaboration!! So my role now is to pray pray pray specifically about the second part... for the bleeding to seize and not harm any part of him. No worries... pure faith... we have a neurologist with great wisdom whom I will call tomorrow and ask for an in-depth review of the CT scan and how to move forward with this.
All I have to say is that the team of people who are surrounding us from the SD Hospice staff, is a miracle, and I love every one of them. They helped make the ER visit soooo easy. Though I did sit in the room for 4 hours with nothing to do. To be honest, I was a little upset that Rocky actually did that... I wanted to do so much yesterday, but instead we were both in the ER... something that could have been prevented easily. But I laughed and was just so proud that he was able to make the journey, which is incredible considering for the past few months he hasn't done anything strenuous. And secondly, the results of the CT scan, something that we wouldn't have today, if he didn't go in. Praise the Lord, everything happens for a reason... and truly the Lord has angels by Rocky's side, and He protects him in circumstances like these.

10 a.m.
That is when I rise. I find that Rocky is not around. He actually goes out to breakfast with his friends, and comes home when my eyes are just peering open, then he slips into bed again to rest, and I am fully awake and productive doing Jena things. We've been getting encouraging mail from wonderful people who send us cards and prayers... many I've yet to write back to! Then we are hounded by medical bills that I open up and sigh at... then to get over that burden, I make the tastiest rolls that Rocky and I eat basically every day because its like eating a compact salad, though, better...
Food-Lovers.
Its true, as Aunty Jori told me this weekend, "Cooked food is an addiction." She was the woman who gave Rocky "The Hallelujah Diet" book that I've been recently reading.
Over the past weekend Rock and I have been out of the house and unable to prepare our own meals. On Saturday we drove back up to San Dimas (1.5 hrs) to pickup our wedding rings (seen below) that were re-polished and resized. It was already noon by the time we reached there. The best place we could find was a sushi restaurant. It was so good that it was so bad. Didn't ever realize how much white rice is actually in sushi alone. I ask myself why no one ever makes sushi with brown rice. My sister gave me a good tip last night and told me to just buy spicy tuna, and make your own sushi roll with veggies.
The following day we joined the Spencer family out in their Del Mar beach house and they ordered Pick Up Stix. Which is an oriental diner, a notch up from Panda Express. Aunty Jori had leftover quinoa and salad, so I ate some of that. And then Kyle, who is also a vegetarian, ordered tofu and shrimp that were sauteed and surely cooked in tasty sauces. At the end of the night, all I craved was raw fresh vegetables! Rocky said the same thing. So we ate broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots before bedtime. Odd, and true.

I photographed the second photo on top of a photograph I snapped of the seashore! Think it'll be my next creative project. Inspiring jewelry on photographs. Soon I'll upload my moonlight beach photos... one of the first days Rocky was able to walk with me to the waterline since out of the hospital in August. He was overjoyed and filled with tears. <3

Sunday. Rock and I were prayed over by friends and people we just met. Full of holy fire, the spirit was great, and my mind+body+spirit had been restored with strength. Word was spoken over Rock - "Ministry". They were prayer warriors like those who come from Bethel School of supernatural ministry. The spirit consumes and they pour forth words and visions. All the times I've come to meet people with great faith... the precious joy of God takes over me and I am lifted to a higher place where I am taken away from my physical being and forget that I exist in the world. My spirit becomes enlightened by the inspiration of God and his people... He puts thoughts and creative ideas into my heart -- and He breathes into me inspiration to pour onto others.
This man who prayed over me spoke that I have a "Voice." He said to "Sing" because I have a voice, and the Lord wants to use me. This in confirmation with a new song I have begun to write only a week before. Not only this he spoke over, but he began his prayer defining "hope"... and that is what I write of. He said "Let's not put our faith in hope... but we must have faith now, faith that God will heal. Let's not hope... and not leave room for unbelief... but have F A I T H." There were scriptures spoken that I just read, and there were visions of ministry that I've dreamed... now I can only b e l i e v e that God is calling. Therefore, I sing Victory.
MUNDANE.
I've got to get a California driver's license with my name change. Most excited to see Jena Green on my ID's. I just need to study for the written test.
I'm doing freelance with the company I was working for in the past 6 months. More apparel graphic designs and spec sheets. I love what I do. Sometimes it can be boring working with the same logos, but my favorite part, although it may take over an hour, is finally getting a layout that is visually appealing.

Rocky turned Thirty-Four! Seems the more I grow, numbers don't mean a thing. One of my greatest hope in the Lord through numbers and ages, was Abraham and Sarah, who was ten years younger. It appears that the Lord has a reason for every season. I had written a song titled "Under the Moon" about a year and a half ago; the bridge telling my story.
"My light, came from the moon tonight
my only friend in the sky
beyond all of the stars I have realigned
When i was searching for something
much better than you Lord
better than your love in my life
If there's something inside that'll tell me what time it is
when to fall in love, or when to live without it
I searched high and low where they say the greener grass have already grown
under the moon
the wise men they say that there is nothing new under the sun
their search have already begun
there ain't nobody better than the One
the wise men, they, they just had it right
they had me listen closely, closely to the night
where silence sing melodies
revealing a symphony
that's what you'll find
that's what you'll find
under the moon
Bridge
Young love, I directed you, but you didn't pull through
so my faith just grew and grew
as i blew all my kisses to the moon
and that's the truth...
people, I found love, high in the sky
above all the birdy birdies in flight..."
As I read these lyrics and listen to this song, I thank the Lord for speaking to me and inspiring me of His true love. Beyond the love that we have. I see the path which the Lord has placed in front of me. Every melody I've written became a stepping stone from one inspiration to the next. Most about love, humanity, God. The King continues to whisper thoughts and ideas into my heart. I ask Him, Why Lord, the dreams you give me seem too much, why have you put them at my feet? And He says, "because I created you. I believe in you."
Rocky was my greatest leap of faith. We climbed over mountains together to get to where we are. And as we were half way up, He said "Matthew 17:20 Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." And the mountain moved in the name of Jesus. From our engagement to a miracle wedding. I said "Yes" because I could not deny His word, which He spoke to me about Rocky. To deny God's promises and word and agree with a way which seems apparent and foreseen by people with unbelief, never. I would never give up the kingdom of God just because people disagree with what they feel is best. God's plan far surpasses my very understanding. I can only ask Him, what next? And He continues to guide me. This time is bittersweet, though I am honored to be used by God. He has provided for me in ways I could not explain why I have a roof over my head, a husband full of love and hope, a life of joy in a time where I should breakdown. Everyday is a blessing no matter how hard it seems, because I am alive and the Lord inspires me to be full of life.

On the road to San Dimas to my favorite artisan in the entire universe, Galatea! If you only knew, you would fall in l o v e. Rocky discovered him last year as he was hunting for my dream engagement ring "A diamond in a pearl". I didn't think he would ever be able to find one. Though, how weird is this... the jeweler ended up being right next to a coffee shop that Rocky used to play music and put together shows at years ago when he lived out there! Today as we talked to his brother, he spoke to us about Galatea's newest creation! "Several years ago, while Chi was carving a Tahitian pearl, he accidentally carved too deeply, exposing the white Mother-of-Pearl bead beneath the black nacre. Lamenting over the fact that he had just ruined a perfectly fine Tahitian pearl, he suddenly got this idea that he could insert gemstone beads into a black lipped oyster, creating a pearl that would be carved down to the nucleus, exposing the gem beneath the nacre." Pure masterpiece <3

Rocky is doing very well today. We go to the Encinitas library about once a week. We bring our mugs filled with tea and as I study, he goes through the cd's and literally borrows about 20 cd's everytime we go. So our 1.5 hour road trip this morning to get our wedding bands resized with Galatea's jewelers was a ride of magnificent music! We came home and Rocky began playing my baby Taylor and recorded a music track on his laptop. Sounds beautiful <3

Sisters,
I recommend to invest in a juicer, dehydrator, blender, and purifying pH system. Rock and I got a juicer (Jack Lallane) from his mother about three months ago. We don't have a dehydrator or purifying system just yet, but surely top two things on my list to get. I make Rocky his vegetable juice everyday. His chiropractor (amazing woman of the Lord) and her husband had given us a recipe to make 20+ servings of raw vegetables daily in one drink. In this process of juicing vegetables, the body can absorb the vital nutrients that are being separated from the fiber (cellulose and hemi cellulose). He says that, "when we chew our food, especially vegetables, we are not chewing them into liquid form. Therefore, our stomach acids are unable to digest and absorb all of the nutrients. It has been proven that only 1-2% of vegetables are assimilated by the body due to improper chewing and poor digestion."
As for juicing fruits, this morning I made fresh apple & orange juice mixed together. It is recommended to eating alkalizing fruits before noon so the body can utilize the sugar before it turns into fat. Most of us consume fruits way more than vegetables... but many don't know that fruits are loaded with natural sugar, which also should be minimized. I was reading that most mothers are feeding their children fruits, and fruit juices way more than vegetables. OD on sugar! Not to mention that fruit juices are heavily processed and most nutrients are destroyed. By juicing vegetables, you can get the same vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, and phytonutrients without the sugars in fruits!
I shop at Jimbo's Naturally in Carlsbad/La Costa area, and they sell only 100% organic produce. It doesn't cost a lot if you compare it to eating out. Rocky and I go to the grocery store 1-2 times a week, and we make all of our meals 80% raw. I lightly cook wild fish & cage-free vegetarian fed chicken eggs every once in awhile with coconut oil. But other than that, the only other thing we heat is water for tea! When foods are cooked over 118 degrees F, all natural enzymes are destroyed. Even worse, using a microwave.
J'adore Natalie! The other day Rocky said that I could cut my hair because he knows that I want to, even though he doesn't want me to. So I found this photo of Natalie with short hair that inspires me! Though, today my hair is braided and I love that its lengthy to be able to do this. Tomorrow, I'll take out my braids and it'll be nice and crimped!

Au revoir!

Arwen portrays a magnificent grasp of hope <3
Rock & i have been watching Lord of the Rings over the past three nights. It is the first time that I have seen the entire film. I have learned of love, fellowship, courage, v i c t o r y ! , brotherhood, promise, faith, h o p e. There is evil in the world, greed, posession, murder, people who seek darkness rather than the light. At the end of this film I ask myself, "Who are we?" We are God's children, we A R E the light! "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven." [Matthew 5:14-16] God made us and He loves us, and believes in us... and He desires us to believe in Him, because when we do... "God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? [Hebrews 13:5-6] I believe in hope, peace, and love, my faith in the Lord and unto His glory may all that I do proclaim. I will praise the Lord till the end of my days no matter what tribulation, pain, sorrow, grief, circumstance I am in. I pray for the Lord to heal Rock, my love, that through all of this... may the Lord be his strength and hope to believe in divine healing.
"If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you." [Exodus 15:26]

Food for the Raw-Soul.
Daniel 1:11-16 // Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, "Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see." So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young met who ate the royal food. So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.
Who is Daniel?, Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael (Meshach), and Azriah (Abednego)?
Daniel 1:4 // "Select only strong, healthy, and good-looking young men," he said. "Make sure they are well versed in every branch of learning, are gifted with knowledge and good sense, and have the poise needed to serve in the royal palace." - King Nebuchadnezzar
Daniel 1:17 // God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for learning the literature and science of the time. And God gave Daniel special ability in understanding the meanings of visions and dreams.
Daniel 1:20 // In all matters requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, the king found the advice of these young men to be ten times better than that of all the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.
Who is God to Daniel?
Daniel 2:20 // "Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he alone has all wisdom and power. He determines the course of world events; he removes kings and sets others on the throne. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he himself is surrounded by light. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded."
